Queen NFTs
2022
AZAM partnered with metaverse platform Virtua to launch Platinum Queen, a unique first collection of NFTs celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years on the British throne.
Saatchi Gallery
2019
AZAM’s largest and most comprehensive solo exhibition to date, hosted by the Saatchi Gallery in London, follows the artist’s pilgrimage to lake Saiful Malook, a secluded paradise near the mountains of Kashmir.
Phone Painting
2017
AZAM created a stunning new series of works titled PHONE PAINTING, taking first-generation iPhones from 2007 and transforming them into beguiling works of art.
Malala Yousafzai
2015
AZAM's portrait was officially commissioned by the Yousafzai family, and is permanently exhibited at University of Birmingham.
Marea, NYC Collaboration
2013-2014
AZAM collaborated with Michelin starred Marea, New York, part of the Altamarea Group of restaurants on a commission of 25 art works for their collection and installations.
Evolutionary Loop 517
2013
AZAM’s six metre bronze sculpture “Evolutionary Loop 517” was commissioned by the University of Aberdeen and is permanently displayed outside the Sir Duncan Rice Library. The work was a collaboration with the Danish library design architects, schmidt hammer lassen.
Athena
2012
At just over twelve metres high, AZAM's Athena is the tallest bronze sculpture in the United Kingdom. Athena was made at the Zahra Modern Art Foundries, formerly Morris Singer, which has produced some of the world’s most famous monumental sculptures including the bronze lions in Trafalgar Square.
Neuro
2011
In 2011, AZAM collaborated with neuroscientists in San Francisco, USA from the pharmaceutical firm Elan plc (now Perrigo plc) to create a series of paintings using their latest MRI scans technology.
Antarctica
2010
AZAM conducted an artistic expedition to Antarctica, where he produced 13 large abstract oil paintings responding to different Antarctic landscapes, including ice lakes, ice caves, glaciers and ice deserts.
The Dance
2008
AZAM’s monumental bronze sculpture “The Dance” is permanently located on London’s South Bank.
Zero Gravity
2008
AZAM completed a project aboard a parabolic aircraft (Russian Space Agency, Star City, Moscow), where he painted two triptychs – Homage to Francis Bacon: Triptych I and homage to Francis Bacon: Triptych II while the aircraft created weightless conditions similar to those in space.
